Actual Bio description:
Daulton comes from a rich family background that has been involved in Central PA dirt track racing since
the early 1950’s. Daulton’s grandfather on his dad’s side is Super Sportsman car owner Walt Bigler. Walt
has raced and owned racecars since the 50’s and still continues to field a wingless super sportsman
today. Track championships at Silver Spring Speedway, Williams Grove Speedway, and Path Valley
Speedway Park are some of his major accomplishments along with many feature wins at multiple tracks
in and around the area. Daulton’s grandfather on his mother’s side is former late model racer Ken
Riland. Ken’s racing career started in the mid 1980’s and stretched across the better part of two
decades. Riland’s career included feature wins at multiple tracks in Pennsylvania, and in his last year of
racing, a much-anticipated feature win at Silver Spring Speedway. Riland stayed involved in racing by
becoming a race director for the late Silver Spring Speedway and later Williams Grove Speedway. He
since then resigned as race director and fully focused on developing Daulton’s racing career. Daulton
started his journey in racing at just 4 years old. Starting in kids-carts, Daulton raced at tracks all around
the area from Path Valley Raceway Park to Greenwood Raceway. Spending over 8 years in go-karting,
collecting 60 wins, 3 track championships, and multiple awards, it was time to move on to bigger cars. In
2012 Daulton started in the Xcel 600cc micro modified division, racing weekly at Linda’s Speedway for 3
years. Using the modified’s valuable seat time, diving skills, and car control, Daulton took his new
knowledge into the Dirt Late Model ranks starting in 2015. By the end of 2015, Daulton would earn the
title of Williams Grove Rookie of the Year. Over the next several seasons Daulton has produced
successful campaigns, earning an 8 th place in points in the Mason-Dixon Shootout Series and most
improved driver with the series in 2018, 3 feature wins at BAPS Motor Speedway in 2020, 5 th place in
points at Selinsgrove Speedway in 2022, and 6 th place in points at Port Royal Speedway in 2022. 2023
marks Daulton’s 20 th year in racing, hoping for plenty of success, consistency, and lots of fun on and off
the track.
